What do you actually make?
Four things, really. Prompted journals for recording a life as it happens — baby, pregnancy, school, grandparents. Self-adhesive photo albums for getting pictures off a phone and onto a shelf. Family memory books for recipes, Christmases and birthdays. And notebooks for people who simply write.
What does personalised mean here?
Gold foil embossing on the linen cover, done by hand in our Tāmaki Makaurau studio rather than outsourced. Names, initials and second lines are all available, priced on each product page. We set macrons for te reo Māori names, and é and ë.
Where do I start?
With whichever chapter you are in rather than the whole range. A baby book if there is a baby. An album if the photographs are still on a phone. A recipe journal if there is handwriting worth keeping. They are designed to accumulate over years, not to be bought all at once.
How long do these last?
That is the whole point of them. Archival-quality paper, linen hardcovers, gold screw binding on the albums. The self-adhesive pages hold a photo without adhesive touching the print, so nothing yellows. We have been making them since 2015 and they are built to outlive us.
Do you ship across New Zealand?
Yes, from our Tāmaki Makaurau studio. Personalised orders are embossed by hand every second day, so allow a little longer than a plain order — it is the part we will not rush.
