Numbers 0-9 (We can accommodate dates in the format dd.mm.yy)

Positioning
We exercise our own discretion as to best positioning for the length of word, but generally emboss at the bottom in the middle of the journal, around 2–5cm from the base. We can accommodate custom requests for positioning, email to enquire or leave a request in the notes.
Monogramming Daily
We monogram our journals daily in Melbourne to ship within Australia and world-wide, and in Auckland for New Zealand orders.
Each product listing indicates the expected monogramming timeframe. During sale periods or times of higher order volumes, dispatch may occasionally take a little longer. If your order is urgent, please email us at megan@forgetmenotjournals.com as soon as possible.
Alignment
We exercise great care and take our time in monogramming your personalised journals and notebooks.
Our gold foil monogramming is a hand-made technique — the foil plate is aligned by hand and hand-pressed for each individual book. It is extremely hard to get the angle absolutely perfect. Because of this, perfection in placement and alignment cannot be guaranteed, and natural variation is to be expected. Items will not be considered faulty if embossing varies in placement, alignment, angle, or result.
On longer names, any angle in the impression becomes more visible — because the name spans more of the cover, the same small degree of angle shows more comparative to the edge of the book. This is not a defect; it is simply the nature of a longer line of hand-pressed text.
When ordering two or more names (e.g. first and last name), please be aware that each line is aligned and pressed separately, so there may be minor variation between them. The gold foil will not rub off with normal use — if you have any concerns about the condition of your foiling, please reach out to us straight away.
